Our research group, based in the College of Ocean and Earth Sciences at Xiamen University, focuses on both fundamental and applied studies of surface-attached microorganisms, including the mechanisms underlying microbial diversity formation, interspecies interactions, spatial assembly processes, and strategies for pathogen control.

Probiotics Helper (PH), meaning “assistant to beneficial microbes,” aims to support probiotic organisms in maximizing their functional potential under favorable conditions, thereby contributing to microecological stability and human health.
